Regina Spektor Loves the Mod Club

april2506_reginaspektor.jpgNew York's, Regina Spektor took the stage at College St's Mod Club last night for a wonderful and quirky performance.

She noted that not only is the Mod Club a great place to perform and but was impressed with how kept the place was ('nothing' that nice in NYC according to Spektor). Still, there was one thing she suggested owners reconsider -- the video ads in the bathroom stalls. While joking that those moments in the can are where great thoughts and quality solitude are found, Spektor admitted to being just plain freaked when the 'do you want to buy this car' voice began talking from the screen.

While I was tempted to take a vid of the freaky ads, you can probably check those out yourself. Instead, I focused in on the better stuff on stage: Watch a video clip of Regina performing her newest song, "Fidelity". More photos up on Flickr.

Great photos (I didn't realize THIS show was the one you were shooting, lucky you!) I've heard from every friend who went that this was a "tops of the year" concert.
