Cherry Blossoms and Chill Beats in High Park
To me, nothing says "booyah, spring has finally sprung" like the sudden burst of cherry blossoms in the city. High Park has a beautiful crop of Yoshinos and today (sorry for the short notice!), there's going to be a little party in the cherry tree grove to both celebrate the blooming of these gorgeous Japanese trees and cheer on the arrival of sunnier days ahead.
Chilled out beats will be provided care of Nick Ayling (ambient fuzz), Owen of Psyence Project (psychedelic world dub), Shen aka Noah Pred (deep west coast chill), Eric Downer (ambient tech) and Medicine Man (world dub and ambient).
It's supposed to hit 17 degrees today (giddyup!), so grab a friend, pack a picnic and come make merry pour printemps.
