King Edward Hotel

Posted by Staff / Posted on December 6, 2009

King Edward Hotel TorontoThe King Edward Hotel is one of the grande dames of Toronto hotels. While it's glory days are in its past, the hotel still has a certain charm and is a good option for those in town doing business in the Financial District.

Horrible experience at the King Edward high tea last Sunday.
It's a complete scam. Everything is wrong, from the servers that don't have a clue to the old dry very small sandwiches and dry pastries.
The china is cheap and the room has no personality al all.
We felt completely misled by the pictures and the description.
Please avoid this place, you will thank me!

When I was a little girl; My late Dad and I always ate there. Breaded fillet of sole and mashed potatoes.
I think it was self serve. He also, took me to ballet, high park, lunches and dinners. Centre Island. He worked for 40 years at The Imperial Pub.
