Street Style: The End of Fashion Week
These last set of photos marks an end to my five days of Fashion Week inspired Street Style. It's been a lot of fun and just want to say a big thanks to everyone who took a moment to allow me to photograph them.

I like Emma and Kaitlin's looks. Particularly Emma's. Sheldon's is great, but a little heavy-handed.
Everyone else's styles seem generic and cookie-cutter (albeit very well-executed and, in some cases, very well tailored). If you are going to highlight style, then you should focus on unique style... There's no real "streetstyle" element to these people. They might as well be from Gap ads.
as much as these fashion week photos have been fun to look at, i do look forward to seeing more regular people in upcoming Street Styles. if you are a working model, chances are you are making pretty good money, plus you probably get to take an item of clothing home with you once in a while. most people cannot afford to be wearing balanciagas or chloe boots. most people are not 6 foot tall models weighing 110 lbs, i think true great style is working with what you got, no matter what your body type or income, and somehow making it look good and be functional at the same time. show me someone who is pear- shaped, 5'4", on a strict budget, and bike rides to work working it and i will be much more impressed.
ps. jack, you're kinda growing on me. i actually thought you were pretty funny today!
I swear I saw Kaitlin walking down King St. yesterday after I jumped off the streetcar on my way home from work. Wonder if it was just after these photos were taken. Loved her look and wanted to compliment her taste. She totally stood out on a rainy day.
thank god most people are not 6 foot tall models weighing 110 lbs... or else most people will be carrying a bag for puking after every meal
how about shooting non-models and non-dancers?

Katrina and Marta finally have great outfits and great pieces on them. (surprise surprise...they're actually NOT profiled as models....I thought Toronto was only full of models??)
if the best thing you can come up with for a person is favourite item: jeans. then maybe you should rethink taking their photo.
girls with a jacket on and stockings is not style....show the different textures and layering that someone does that takes style to pull of and is done effortlessly.
why did they get someone who knows nothing about fashion other than what they personally like to wear or see on guys to keep this series???
and favourite item: nail polish??? really.....woooooooooow
you to can have style too, if you wear a garbage bag and some nail polish!!
if the persons friend wants to jump in on a picture too and you have nothing better to give them credit for, use some integrity and move on and not just cave.
Good job on the street style pics, JL. It isn't easy getting out there and doing what you do. Keep it up!
