Tips Nail Bar

tips nail bar torontoTips Nail Bar on the Danforth is one of the best places to go for a mani/pedi in Toronto. Its polish selection is fantastic, its space is warm and relaxing, and the quality of service is bar none. Some repeat customers say their manicures ($25 for a basic treatment) can last for weeks.

They also have a great lady there, her name is Nargess and she is great with eyebrows. trust me! I am Iranian. I know what I'm talking about. Nargess does a good job with shaping eyebrows.

Went for my wedding mani/pedi. The ladies who took care of me were super nice, can't say the same for the owner/manager. Probably why I haven't been back since.

Actually, i too find their service not bad... however the person who answers the phone is another story - beyond rude. so offending in fact that i'll go somewhere else... a place that has the whole package - skilled workers and good customer service... i suggest you do the same!

I went yesterday for the first time. I love this place. The women who work there are awesome and I got an amazing manicure! Not only do they do a normal manicure, they also can make amazing designs on your nails!! I totally recommend this place and I will totally be going back!!!!

I went today for the first time and I LOVED it. Naomi was really nice and friendly and my nails look so beautiful with their new ombre look! The atmosphere is great, everyone is fun and friendly. A bit expensive but worth it! I'll definitely be back.

I went there last year for a pedicure and never again! It was the worst pedicure I ever received and ended up going to Urban Nails down the street for a proper job. Do they bribe all these review sites, I don't get it! Yelp also top rated them which is how I found out about them. They don't even have proper pedicure chairs, you soak your feet in small bowls? Am I missing something?

Gail, I think you are missing something. Tips uses bowls because they are more sanitary than those dirty jets in other nail salons. Other salons just wipe down the jet tubs but think about all the dirty water in the jet holes (gross). As for the chairs, they are beautiful and comfortable. Personally I think those "other" chairs are tacky. Tips can be described with one word CLASSY! Tips is the cleanest nail salon. They actually care about your nails. Not to mention the staff are truly friendly and if I could go everyday just to hang out with them I would. The nail art is out of the world. Obviously I strongly recommend Tips for anyone who wants to get to a clean and amazing mani and/or pedi!

Hi Tibi,

Could you please let me know what makes Tips the best salon for manis and pedis in terms of hygiene? Could you please give details as to how utensils and tools are cleaned after each use? Please name the products they use to clean. Thank you.
