Garrett Olson recently relocated to Toronto and has been building up a head of steam around town with his band the 49th Parallel. They will be making their Rancho debut and kicking off this very strong Wednesday night show. They play indie-pop for fans of bands like Nada Surf.

All the way from Halifax, the Brood take the Rancho stage as part of their first tour west from the island. Big things are happening with this band so odds it won't be the last you hear of them. But hey isn't it always cooler to be into a band before the bandwagon? They have a really fun funky indie-rockabilly jam thing going on that I find hard to compare to pretty much anything else I know. Rad!

Closing it out we have Young Doctors in Love who are both launching a new video and celebrating the upcoming East Coast Tour! Bringing this whole crazy thing full circle Young Doctors in Love play their Halifax gig with Berserker Lion as the promoter and Berserker Lion put together the Brood tour. The musical world is a truly small place and Young Doctors in Love are one of the best indie-pop bands in said musical world.
