In just over a year of living in Toronto, Jayemkayem has quickly established herself within the citys nightlife scene. Whether shes holding down nights at some of the West Ends hippest venues like Apt200 and Libertine, or hosting her semimonthly radio show on independent station TRP, shes constantly spreading good vibes and good times with her eclectic selections that span the genres of hip-hop, R&B, grime and uk garage. She was a music journalist, writer and promoter before ever stepping behind the decks, so it makes sense that this Calgary transplant has become known for her progressive sets that have seen her play venues across Canada and share the decks with such names as Nick Catchdubs, DJ Oneman, Venus X and Virgil Abloh.
