Witness the Solar Ecplise

Come and watch the solar eclipse with ActiveDays and Parkbus! On August 21, North America will be treated to an eclipse of the sun. This is one of nature’s most incredible events and it is rare — the last time this happened in North America was 1979. Come and have your lunch, bring some games and watch the eclipse with us. We will be there from 1pm to 4pm.

We are going to be watching the eclipse in the southern end of Trinity Bellwoods Park and bringing 50 pairs of eclipse viewing glasses with us to share. The eclipse in Toronto is a partial one with 75% of the sun covered — it’s going to be incredible to witness. The eclipse begins at 1:10pm, peaks at 2:32pm and will be over by 3:49pm.

The event is free. Everyone is welcome -- no registration needed. Come hang out with us and watch the eclipse.

ActiveDays is a community. This is an inclusive space to meet new people, share stories and have fun! To us, there is no better place to get to know someone than the outdoors. We all share a desire to get out, explore and stretch our legs.
