Walking in Their Footsteps: Battle of York 1813

Saturday, April 23 at 11 a.m.

Meet outside of the Palais Royale, 1601 Lake Shore Blvd. West

Tread the ground of the U.S. attackers and York defenders as you follow the guided tour Walking in Their Footsteps. This 1.5 hour walking tour will trace the course and events of the battle which took place on April 27, 1813. It will be a continuous walk, led by staff and volunteers, with five stops along the way. At each of these stops, a speaker will give a 10 minute presentation relating to the details of the battle.

Rain or shine. The walking tour is FREE. Regular admission applies to Fort York National Historic Site: Adults: $7.96, Seniors /Youth: $4.87, Children 6-12yrs: $3.76 plus tax. Children 5 and under are free.
