Video Vengeance #3 - Showdown in Little Tokyo 1991 - Free VHS Screening!

Here at Video Vengeance we prefer to pick films from the 80s - we feel safer within the comfortable confines of the Home Video Boom.

Well for our third event we've decided to dive head-first into the early 90s - and you bet we've done it for a good reason. This month we are screening the Mark L. Lester of Commando fame directed 'splosion fest that is Showdown in Little Tokyo 1991.

A samurai-sword toting detective teams up with a quip-slinging cop-slash-'valley-dude' to battle Yakuza in the streets of Los Angeles. If you thought Dolph Lundgren would play the latter and Brandon Lee would be the former then you're way off. Yes Dolph is an orphan from Japan while Brandon plays the street-smart... smart-ass. Will they find a way to get along? Will they maybe fall in love?

Find out when you come see the film that Vincent Canby of the New York Times called "violent but spiritless." - in all its analog glory!

Plus: show up early and catch some pre-film fun with previews drive-in bumpers and tons of free prizes from our raffle!

Presented by Modern Superior and hosted by KITCH.
