Starting in New York, GHE20 GOTH1K has grown from an underground club night, showcasing emerging artists from the online world, to a cultural phenomenon with its own attitudes and ideologies. The scene sets itself apart from previous movements in that GHE20 GOTH1K was born in a very traditional way- through the New York club scene- but took a huge amount of inspiration from the Internet.

The event is known for booking breaking djs, performers, and hosts on the verge of becoming recognized worldwide as the leading alternative culture including; Kelela, Arca, Hood By Air, ASAP Mob, Tan Boys, Le1f and more.
