Unlocked & Loaded: Keys To The Studio's 2nd Annual Long-Weekend Blast

Unlocked & Loaded : Keys To The Studio's 2nd Annual Long-Weekend Blast

Loaded with talent, Keys To The Studio musicians will play their own original tunes, unlocking barriers that have excluded them because of a diagnosis of developmental/intellectual disability. Bring your friends for this fun and inclusive event on Saturday evening, August 30th, at Toronto’s popular Queen West club, The Sister.

The success of last year’s Labour Day weekend performance prompted The Sister to invite Keys To The Studio to return for a yearly gig, making this Keys 2nd Annual Long-Weekend Blast. Key Artistic Director, John Jowett describes the music as “always fresh and spontaneous. I’ve never heard anything like it – and there’s an exceptional vibe at shows that you can’t get anywhere else.” Playing new songs and audience favourites, Keys To The Studio’s 9-piece band is Brett Balaban (MC & harp), Brian Collinge (keyboard), Andre Oliveira (keyboard), Andrew Everett (keyboard & laptop), Eric Seguin (guitar), Joe Kelly (guitar), Teppei Kamei (bass), John Jowett (trombone) and Marvin McCalla (drums).

Keys To The Studio at The Sister, 1554 Queen Street West, on Saturday, August 30th, 2014 at 9:30pm is pay-what-you-can at the door. For more information, contact Keys To The Studio online (facebook.com/KeysToTheStudio), by email (info@keystothestudio.com) or by text or phone (416.532.8480).
