Sibylle Marquardt, flute and alto flute

Peter Stoll, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone

Anna Ronai, piano

TRIO D’ARGENTO is a multi-faceted ensemble. Sibylle and Peter play a variety of woodwind instruments together with Anna on the piano. They have performed all over Ontario, in Sarnia, Muskoka, Orangeville, Gallery 345 Toronto, for Music Toronto and Brantford Musical Club concert series, Wilfrid Laurier University, Conrad Grebel University, the University of Guelph and the University of Toronto. They have visited the Caledon Chamber Concerts and the Kitchener Waterloo Chamber Music society many times. Trio D’Argento has collaborated with Barbara Croall, a First Nations composer and performer. Their newest project with composer Kevin Lau will explore what Quantum Physics can bring to their music. Their program for this evening encompasses Classical gems by Haydn and Kuhlau, two hot dances - one from South America and the other from Sicily - as well as rarely heard French gems of the 20th century. They will introduce each piece on stage, providing a fun conversational atmosphere.
