Trinity Bellwoods BIA Pop-Up: Do Learn

The Trinity Bellwoods B.I.A. is hosting a pop up of workshops called Do Learn to celebrate the back-to-school season. This is a free community block party that celebrates learning and trying new things. Join us on Saturday, August 27th from 12pm to 5pm at the Dundas-Manning Community Garden at the corner of Dundas Street West and Manning Avenue.

The workshops will include classes from the neighbourhood’s businesses, youth and residents. Classes will include life drawing classes from #Hashtag Gallery, nail stamp art from Wow Wow Nails, chocolate tasting from Odile Chocolat, pot painting and planting, bunting flag making, urban beekeeping with the Toronto Urban Beekeeping Association and ink making with the Mobile Ink Factory from the Toronto Ink Company. We will also have a fire truck visit from Toronto Fire Services. There will be free coffee served all day from the new Offsite, opening at 867 Dundas Street West.

Attendees can learn new skills, meet the neighbours and make friends with business and community-led classes. It is sure to spark creativity, experimentation and inspiration in time for the beginning of a new school year.

Workshops are first come, first serve.
