The Queer West Film Festival provides a voice for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and queer youth by presenting films and videos that only represent the diversity of the International GLBT community. By providing innovative, diverse, accessible, quality screen events, which promote/stimulate, educate, enlighten, support queer cultures and entertain us all. The event is PWYC runs on a Saturday afternoon, once a year and every August at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre.. Show begins at 6 pm. Buddies has a licensed bar, so grab something fluid to drink. QWFF welcomes everyone from 15 to 80. The film festival is one of the attractions during the annual Toronto Queer Arts and Culture Festival
