Information on the Panelists

Sarah Boesveld is senior writer at Chatelaine magazine, where she covered the sexual assault trial of Jian Ghomeshi earlier this year and writes about current affairs primarily for an audience of Canadian women. She has worked for the National Post, The Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star covering everything from social issues to crime to politics.

Justin Trottier is Executive Director of the Canadian Association for Equality. He runs the Canadian Centre for Men and Families, a unique new Toronto facility. The Centre is an open, inclusive and space space serving as a hub for services focused on the health and well-being of boys, men, fathers and families. Services include therapy, peer support, legal assistance, employment counselling, fathering programs and support for male victims of trauma, abuse and domestic violence. Patrick Bissett is a freelance journalist and equality activist based in Toronto. Patrick has a deep knowledge of the issues and personalities that inhabit the men’s equality movement.
