Toronto International Boat Show

The 60th Annual Toronto International Boat Show returns from January 12 – 21, 2018, just in time to chase away those mid-winter blues!

The Toronto Boat Show hosts over 550 exhibitors, 250 seminars, workshops, and more features than any other boat show in North America. Home to the world’s largest indoor lake, the 10-day event is filled with unique in-water attractions including FREE boat rides, canoeing and kayaking, and awe-inspiring wakeboard and waterski shows.

Watch as the competition heats up with stand-up paddleboard (SUP) races and the debut of SUP Polo and Kayak Polo – the newest trend in water sports! Also on The Lake, come meet Baywatch movie actress and Survivor reality television all-star Brenda Lowe who will be demonstrating her passion for stand up paddleboard on The Lake (Jan 12 to 14).

The family fun continues at the Kids Fishing Zone where children can learn how to catch and release live trout, or get up close to the famously adorable Twiggy the Waterskiing Squirrel who entertains while teaching kids about water safety.

Visitors can sit in the latest kayaks, personal watercrafts, jet skis and electric boats to find the perfect fit and shop for outdoor accessories. Fishing enthusiasts can get ‘school’ed at the The Great Canadian Fish Tank, a 40-foot long aquarium stocked with fish, to learn from experts sharing advice and tips to catch the big one.

Those new to the world of boating can stop by the New Boater Welcome Centre and the Discover Boating Centre, where a team of friendly, knowledgeable boating experts are on hand to give straight answers to all your boating questions.

Also this year, the Toronto International Boat Show is pleased to host Mercy Ships Canada, an international charity that operates the largest floating hospital ship in the world, providing free health care to those without access in the developing world. Come meet and be inspired by some of the doctors, nurses, crew and volunteers who are making a difference.
