Put the sizzle back in your summer at the fifth annual Thrill of the Grill. The Danforth will be closed to traffic as the chefs of Allen’s, The Combine Eatery, Das Gasthaus, Factory Girl, Globe Bistro and The Meat Department are turning up the heat to out grill each other to claim the title of Toronto’s best BBQ rib. Come and meet The Food Network’s Lynn Crawford and HGTV and House & Home's Tommy Smythe. All proceeds will benefit kidney cancer research at the Odette Cancer Centre, Sunnybrook Health Science Centre. Tickets are $15 and include 6 ribs and flavoured corn cobs; ESKA water; samples from SteamWhistle and Gnarly Head winery.
