This Is For You: A Free Creative Writing Workshop for World Pride

This is for you if you want to catch your shining star, get unstuck, swish glitter across the page, fight back against the bullies, take up & take back space, let your inner sparkle fly, permit your hard edges to soften & create create create! This is for you - writing your Pride, your way, with hands-on writing exercises & tips on writer’s block, getting started & how not to stop, by award-winning author, Debra Anderson.

You'll need to bring your own pen and paper to this World Pride event. No experience necessary. This is a FREE workshop that runs from 4pm to 5:15pm on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Glad Day Bookshop (598a Yonge St.).

Debra Anderson is the recipient of the Writers’ Trust of Canada’s prestigious Dayne Ogilvie Prize for an emerging LGBT Canadian author. Debra has taught innovative Creative Writing Workshops at Word on the Street, the Toronto Public Library, and to various organizations and writing groups.
