Career Skills Incubator (CSCI) is offering a workshop called the Nonprofit Startup Challenge - a one-day crash course all about how to start your own nonprofit organization! The event is aimed at anyone who has ever dreamt of starting their own socially-impactful organization but didn't know where to start. Our mission through this workshop is to offer the information, resources, and access to networks necessary to hit the ground running. The model for the workshop will be to lead participants through a process of inquiry and self-reflection to arrive at their own answers regarding the sector, and whether they wish to to become part of it.

Topics to be covered include:

- Finding your business value proposition

- Defining your vision, mission and values

- The 'legal-ese' of incorporating your nonprofit

- Finance, HR and other parts of internal governance

- How to stay mentally well and resilient along your journey

- Much, much more!

Registration opens at 9:30am. The workshop will run from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Lunch and light mid-morning and afternoon snack will be provided. Access to a lovely patio and comfy napping couches also included.
