The Ask Her Talks

The inaugural Ask Her Talks feature five knowledgeable, dynamic, and informed African women speaking on philanthropy, change, and power. These Talks will shift the conversation and challenge our understanding and beliefs about how philanthropy can truly improve the human condition. There are remarkable leaders in Africa at the grassroots. Women are at the heart of the response to crises affecting their communities — from the AIDS pandemic, to Ebola, to the kidnapping of Nigerian girls — and yet we rarely, if ever, hear from them. They are the experts on what works, what kind of support is most effective, and what challenges need to be met. Presented by the Stephen Lewis Foundation, the Ask Her Talks give a Canadian audience the chance to hear directly from the experts.

Tickets are $20.00 each and include admission to a reception following the talks. They can be purchased here: http://www.eventbrite.ca/e/toronto-the-ask-her-talks-african-women-on-philanthropy-change-power-tickets-15731862424
