Starting this Sunday July 20, NTRC will re-start its #longarun meets
Last summer, Night Terrors trained together in preparation of marathon races in Toronto, Chicago and San Francisco. Most of us had never ran a full marathon before and the thought of running alone, let alone getting up early in the morning was a bit intimidating. After training together over a fourteen week period, everyone finished their marathon races along with several new PB's
This is not a marathon program because most people have different training plans based on their race goals.
The purpose of our Sunday meets is to conquer long distances together by motivating and encouraging each other to the finish line.
We will post distance routes each week. All you need to do is post in route's comment thread, if you are coming.
You do not have to run entire route and or you can join us at a certain distance. We request you to be mindful of meeting times if you are running late. We will wait for you but advance notice is requested.
Note: We start and finish together, no one left behind. Speed is group pace. Routes will include hydration stops but you are welcome to bring your own hydration gear.
