SPREAD EAGLE - Sheena Is Still A Punk Rocker And He Finally Moved To Toronto

Mutable Notion Entertainment is pleased to present the third installment of SPREAD EAGLE - the ONLY live rock n roll night in Torontos gay village! We saw a gay village with nowhere for the rockers to go and we said Were not gonna take it! For queer and queer friendly folks who wanna rock, SPREAD EAGLE is a blitzkreig bop, a ballroom blitz, a chance to kick out the jams!

This time around, Spread Eagle features two trailblazing local bands with their own unique takes on rock n roll:

THE 8 1/2s http://eightandahalfs.bandcamp.com/ were founded in Toronto in 2012 and play punked-up balkan-spiced gypsy jazz;

Wood Butcher http://woodbutchermusic.wordpress.com/music/ are a punk/rockabilly style band formed in 2010 and featuring members hailing from Sudbury and Winnipeg. Now based in Toronto, Wood Butcher promises to play loud, fast, and hard for their Black Eagle Toronto debut.

Rock n roll aint noise pollution! If you think gay people only like dance music then...youve got another thing comin! Join us on September 21st and take a walk on the wild side.

Hosted by Torontos reigning queen of noise - Jenna Syde

$10 admission at the door
