Powerdove’s music has been described as “music oscillating between gentle madness and mutant avant-garde” (Longuer D’ondes). Since 2010, Powerdove has released five recordings: Live at the Maybeck House (self-released, 2010), a self-titled EP (Circle into Square, 2011), Be Mine (Circle into Square, 2011), Do You Burn? (Circle into Square/ Murailles Music/ Africantape, 2013). and Arrest (Sickroom Records/Murailles Music, 2014). Powerdove has performed at festivals and venues across the United States and Europe, including the Casa da Música (Porto, Portugal), the Alan Lomax Centennial Festival (Rouen, France), Havremagasinet (Boden, Sweden), Academia Carrara (Bergamo, Italy), Musica Nelle Valli (San Martin Spino, Italy), the Switchboard Music Festival (San Francisco), the Less Playboy is More Cowboy Festival (Poitiers, France), and Redcat (Los Angeles). This concert features Powerdove solo - Annie Lewandowski performing on sampler, analog synthesizer, and guitar.
