This months We Are Wearables Toronto event will focus on smartwatches examining the challenge they face in gaining adoption and the opportunities they present in changing the way we work, communicate, and manage our health. We have put together a panel made up of those working in the smartwatch space including Motorola, TELUS, Minuum and Onyx Motion to facilitate this conversation.

Prior to the panel discussion, Nielsen will be presenting some initial findings from its Connected Life survey which features trends around the Canadian wearable consumer. And we will have a lightning presentation from the winner of the N36 Wearable Tech Hackathon, Tipsy Lock, who used the Nymi to keep our streets safe from drunk drivers.

In the demo area, we feature Motorola, TELUS, Minuum, Onyx Motion & Tipsy Lock. And yes WWTO staples, beer, wine and pizza, will be served! And we will have some of our best GIVEAWAYS yet!
