SEAN MACALISTER: the cottage
Jr. Projects invites you to the opening reception of:
Sean MacAlister: the cottage
Opening Reception:
Friday, October 24th, 7-9pm Bodega Thirteen
1446 Dundas St. West
The exhibition will run from Oct 24th - Nov 24th.
A shit vacation.
An inside out cactus.
A brave person.
A brave person is a person who has touched a cactus.
An even braver person than that is a person who has touched a cactus
with no agenda.
If you havent been a brave person in this life - perhaps now is not the best time to start - because you will
have to touch a cactus to prove to yourself that you are in fact a brave person.
The reason a cactus feels as it does, is not to be obnoxious as some people think.
You may never have guessed anything about the inside of a cactus.
The inside of a cactus is...water.
An inside out cactus
despite all odds
will unfortunately spill.
If you have an interest in acting obscene - catch it.
What you might need is
...
a storage container.
The word cactus is actually the same word cottage.
For water, a vacation home, a lake house, a cottage,
is
a cactus.
A place to get away from it all.
A desert.
A shit vacation is better than a great one.
A shit vacation Memories.
A shit vacation is best.
A true constant of abusive sand worshipping - no water - a shit vacation.
An altruist has always touched a cactus. A shit vacation.
A shit vacation.
A shit vacation.
A shit vacation.
