Join the Rexdale Food Access Committee for our THIRD Annual Foodie Festival on Friday, May 29th 2015 from 4pm-7pm at the Albion Library. There will be over 4000 samples of food from Rexdale’s local restaurants including Hamdi Restaurant, Roti Roti, Lola’s Kusina and Jennifer’s Catering! The Foodie Garden area will provide workshops on pallet and container gardening as well as seed saving and composting. The Little Foodies Children’s Area will offer Chef Dress Up, Face Painting, a Sports Activity Bouncer and A Foodie Movie. There will also be cooking demos from various community chefs and performances from local hula and zumba dancers and so much more!
