We will be joined by Torontos trio, Pigeonhawk, and Torontos new transplant from Saskatchewan, Zachary Lucky! Pigeonhawk is a bird of prey in the Toronto roots music scene, swooping in with a hunger for melodies, a keen eye for the obscure, and ferocious rhythm. Rosalyn Dennett and Sarah Hamilton combine their raw, powerful fiddle and vocal style with Toronto songwriter Sean Donald, taking flight to new heights of Stringband performance.
Deeply rooted in this rich tradition of folk songs and fiddle and banjo tunes, this band packs powerful three part harmonies that'll melt that frozen febuary heart and rippin double fiddle numbers to get those chilly feet stompin'.
