In The Community Gallery will be a show of artist's work, their paintings of poets, done in sittings this past winter. The poets, in turn, will be reading poems about the experience. Participating poets include bill bissett, Myna Wallin, George Elliott Clarke, Adam Sol, Dionne Brand, Rudyard Fearon, Ayesha Chatterjee, Sachiko Murakami, and Olive Senior. A selection of student work from this class will be included in this exhibition in the AGO's Community Gallery during National Poetry Month, April 16, 2014. 7 pm.
