Open Tuning A Free Music Festival Launch Event

Open Tuning A Free Music Festival

Launch Event

Sat April 25, 3pm- 6pm

Please forward widely,

Fresh on the heels of our inaugural and highly successful 2014 Open Tuning a Free Music Festival. We are kick starting our second festival with a totally free event that we would like to invite everyone to.

Festival kick-off, April 25: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at St Alban’s Boys and Girls Club, 843 Palmerston Ave.

We’ll have live music, a ukulele jam, (bring your Ukes) a live performance by Samba Elegua, Womyn of Indigo, St Albans Guitar Club and other local performers.

Free snacks and drinks, a Rock Star selfie booth and a whole lot more.

Last year, the first-ever Open Tuning music festival filled our neighbourhood’s porches, back alleys, garages, and sidewalks with the sounds of FREE live music!

Now, we’re getting set to do it again, on June 20, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Open Tuning is a 100% free, DIY, Zero Advertising or Corporate Sponsorship, Community-Powered Festival, so we need as many community members as we can find to join us – by playing music, hosting a venue, or just helping to spread the word.
