NightWOK Journey

NightWOK celebrates the Year of the Monkey with a Lunar New Year festival on February 5th at Nest 423 College St, Toronto, ON M5T 1T1 offering a unique evening experience of food, music and dance.

The inaugural Night Wok combines the New Year traditions of food, music and dance with the excitement of Toronto nightlife. Torontonians will enjoy delicious cuisine from local restaurants and food entrepreneurs inspired by the traditional flavours and spices of the Lunar New Year. Foodies will rejoice at the selection of culinary creations from five feature restaurants including Arthur Rocha’s Asian flavoured Dan Dan Poutine made with sponsored Lee Kum Kee sauce to Okonomiyaki dishes created by Yakikuza. There is also a special featured NightWOK dish prepared by Christopher Sui (Masterchef Canada Contestant) as part of our Tasting Challenge. Nest will also offer festive-inspired cocktails such as The Funky Monkey, the Lunar Ball and the NightWOK Green Tea.

For a truly immersive journey into the New Year, guests will be entertained by traditional lion dance performances by The Wushu Project and music provided by DJ’s DEECEE & DWHY throughout the night.

“While this is our inaugural event, the tremendous support from the community organizations like NAAAP, Preserve Indulgence and our sponsors, have set the foundation for more NightWOK events to come,” said Lee Pham, Co-Festival Director. “We are all excited about what we’ve got planned and I have no doubt that our guest will have an enjoyable experience celebrating the Lunar New Year with us.” he said.

Limited advance admission tickets will be sold online for $15.00 and food vouchers are available for purchase upon arrival, allowing guests to customize their experience to their appetite.
