New Cycles Group Exhibition

In the spirit of the holidays, and in celebration of a terrific 2014 for Julie M. Gallery, we are proud to present a selection of works by some of our permanent artists. This exhibition highlights the gallerys marked interest in social and political issues, as well as our constant admiration for beauty.

We are pleased to exhibit new works by Jiri Ladocha, Gideon Tomaschoff and Nava Waxman, in addition to pieces by Shai Kremer, Mats Nordstrom and Ram Samocha.

Our holiday exhibition also provides a unique preview of our programming for 2015. On view, Meadow, a new work on canvas by Jiri Ladocha, marks the artists return to oil painting after forty years. Ladocha, who is commonly known for his sculptures and three-dimensional pieces, and whose work can be found in the collections of the Guggenheim Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art and the Dordrecht Museum, maintains his interest in minimalism, colour and form, making it present in this renewed approach to his artistic practice. Meadow is the first in a series of canvases that will occupy the gallery next spring.

Join us on November 26 from 6 to 8PM for the opening reception, and join us in celebrating the beginning of the holiday season.
