Neon Dreams Cinema Club presents: 8 MILLION WAYS TO DIE

As our "Suck It Winter!" series and, more importantly, our first (but certainly not last) year of programming comes to an end, Neon Dreams has dug deep and will be unearthing the widely forgotten and damn-near unavailable final film of legendary director Hal Ashby (Harold & Maude, Being There).

Penned by Oliver Stone (with rewrites by Robert Towne), 8 Million Ways to Die features trememndous performances from Jeff Bridges and Rosanna Arquette who have never looked better (seriously, is there anyone in the world as attractive as 80's Rosanna Arquette?), as well as an early role from a fresh-faced (and pony-tail clad) Andy Garcia. It's also stunningly photographed and boasts an outstanding early score by James Newton Howard. BUT the most important thing to note here is that this will most likely be the ONLY time you will EVER be able to catch this film theatrically, as we have specific instructions to place it back in the 30-foot deep hole we dug it out of immediately after the screening. True story. So PLEASE, for our sake and your own, come engage in this once-in-a-lifetime experience at The Royal Cinema - Toronto.

This presentation is made possible thanks to our lovely sponsor Sonic Boom and will be preceded by a mind-shattering pre-show, featuring a specially crafted video mixtape of music, film, and television guaranteed to put you in the right mood. As always this will be a licensed event, courtesy of Monarch Tavern, and there will be AMAZING PRIZES courtesy of Silver Snail Comics (among others) given out to many lucky patrons. Be sure to arrive early!
