Maurice Mierau in conversation with Shawn Syms
Winnipeg writer Maurice Mierau (winner of the ReLit Award) will be in Toronto to discuss and sign copies of his newest book, Detachment: An Adoption Memoir. In 2005, Maurice adopted two sons from Ukraine and one was later diagnosed with attachment disorder; Detachment is Maurice’s story of becoming a family and learning to become a father and a son.
