Leave Tinder Off // Kristin Fung & friends

Leave Tinder Off is a Valentine's Day show for Torontonians who believe that real life happens when you're face-to-face. Come and spend an evening in downtown Toronto away from your screens in a place where you'll increase your chances of meeting somebody in person by 100%. Or you can bury your face in your phone all night, but when you look up, you'll be hosted by Toronto-based, Vancouver-bred Kristin Fung, the indie soul singer/pianist/songwriter leading her lively 6-piece band in deep grooving songs about being face-to-face with love, heartbreak, and everything in between. Featuring drummer Max Senitt, vocalist/keyboardist Jmondew, flutist Anh Phung, guitarist Eric St-Laurent, and bassist Charles James.

Opening the night is the debut of Kristin Fung's newest creative project, New Lineage -- an 8-member experimental vocal collective interested in restoring the human element to urban architecture using the voice. New Lineage is comprised of vocal powerhouses Jocelyn Barth, Mingjia Jessica Chen, Belinda Corpuz, Kristin Fung, Andrea Kuzmich, Jill Stella Richards, and Lieke van der Voort. Come and experience a rare, interactive, face-to-face preview of the group's work before their upcoming performances at AGO Friday Nights at the Art Gallery of Ontario in June 2016.
