Lakeshorts International Short Film Festival will bring the world of vanguard short filmmaking to Toronto’s lakeshore on May 5 and 6. In its seventh year, Lakeshorts will feature 16 diverse short films from Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, France, Luxembourg and USA, ranging from inspirational dramas to sidesplitting comedies.

The AGF Gala on Saturday, May 6 will showcase international and award-winning short films and will be hosted by acclaimed actor Rick Roberts (Saving Hope, Republic of Doyle, Rookie Blue).
