Friday April 21st, the Linsmore Tavern is excited to welcome back after a SOLD-OUT show in 2016, JUST JANIS - A Celebration of the Life and Music of Janis Joplin! There have been quite a few requests to bring this band back in, as they absolutely killed it, their last time at the Linsmore! If you are a fan of Janis Joplin, they are an absolute MUST-SEE! On top of that, the Legendary Al Reilly's and the Experience will be performing a set of Classic Rock that will definitely Rock the House!

JUST JANIS is Jewels Roxx's dedication to playing all your favourite Janis Joplin songs delivered in an authentic, raw bluesy soul sound. Along with Jewels, the JUST JANIS band consists of four talented musicians who have performed with some of Toronto's most popular tribute and cover bands.

Guitarist Roland Roxx has spent over 25 years honing his craft in the Toronto music scene. He has built quite the following of fans from his involvement with Ozzy Osbourne tribute band Blizzard Of Ozz and cover band Rockzilla, whom he shares with Jewels.

Keyboardist, Rick Anderson, has proven himself time and time again. Lending his keyboard expertise to hosting jams and guesting on quite a large following of bands. His knowledge of keyboards is unparalleled in Toronto which makes Rick the go-to guy.

The rhythm twins, drummer Frank The Enforcer and bass extraordinaire, Chris Hume are in constant demand. Between the two, they have well over 50 years of recording and live experience. They are also currently involved with #1 Toronto tribute band Floyd Factor a tribute to Pink Floyd.

Jewels knew the five of them were a perfect fit. "I'm nothing without my band", she says.

"I am truly blessed to work with such gifted, dedicated musicians!"

Inspired by her favourite legend of the late '60s, Jewels grew up rocking along with her records. Jewels started out singing in the local choir of her hometown, where she sometimes returns; she cultivated her raw vocals in multitude of bands in different genres both in Quebec and here in Toronto, Ontario.
