Published by the Doris McCarthy Gallery in partnership with the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery, Kenderdine Art Gallery / College Art Galleries, Ottawa Art Gallery, and Saint Marys University Art Gallery, to accompanying the touring exhibition of the same name, 'Entre le chien et le loup' is David R. Harpers first monograph. Speaking to the intersections of personal and universal mythologies, liminality, and identity, Harper's work engages the viewer in a dialogue on the metaphoric weight that objects present both historically and emotionally. Designed by Lauren Wickware, the catalogue features an introduction by Ann MacDonald, and texts by Robin Metcalfe, Crystal Mowry, Jan Peacock, and Lisa Stone & Jim Zanzi.

Published by the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre, 'the pace of days' documents Monica Taps recent solo exhibition of the same name. Through paintings that engage tropes of both representation and abstraction, Tap systematically investigates timethe passage of time, how it is measured, and our understanding of it in the digital ageand uses the motif of landscape to push at the perimeters of what we know and understand of painting, performed in collusion with both abstraction and the process and aesthetic of time-based media. The catalogue, designed by Zab Design & Typography Inc, contains essays by senior art critics Barry Schwabsky and Christina Ritchie, who offer eloquent and incisive responses to Tap's work. 'Monica Tap: the pace of days' was curated by Dawn Owen.
