JAMES ADOMIAN returns in NAUGHTYHAM

NAUGHTYHAM

An Improvised Robin Hood Tale

Friday, April 17th at 8pm at Comedy Bar

Tickets $20

James Adomian is coming back to Comedy Bar as the baddest villian of them all, The Sheriff of Naughtyham to take on the merriest of men in Naughtyham: An Improvised Robin Hood Tale. Rated one of the Top 10 Comedy Shows of 2014 by Now Magazine and directed by two time Canadian Comedy Award nominee Darryl Pring, Naughtyham returns on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 8PM.

Naughtyham, which first premiered on Friday, January 10th, 2014 at Comedy Bar, was 'a comic bull's-eye' according to Glenn Sumi of Now Magazine. This time, we're gonna split that arrow.

In his critically acclaimed debut album Low Hangin Fruit, Adomian references The Sheriff of Nottingham as his 'favourite gay villian' youtube.com/watch?vKFyo9b46iY. After listening to this hilarious observation, local comedy producer Ian Atlas of Empire Comedy Live had an idea. It would be great to see James Adomian play the sheriff live. Atlas approached Darryl Pring, who's created such improvised hits as Doctor Whom and the most recent sold out parody Whedonesque and Naughtyham was born.

James Adomian will be bolstered by the very best improvisers in the country that include Second City veterans Ashley Comeau, Nigel Downer and Alastair Forbes. Rounding out this stellar cast is Roger Bainbridge Tony Ho, Ken Hall 2 Man No Show, Liz Johnston Whedonesque, Mike 'Nug' Nahrgang Cannibal The Musical and Rob Norman Mantown.

Adomian was a finalist on the 2010 season of LAST COMIC STANDING, and his many insane characters appear as celebrated guests all over the podcast-o-sphere. He is a staple on COMEDY BANG! BANG! and guest stars on the new season of CHILDRENS HOSPITAL. Catch James live performing standup and characters across the globe at festivals, comedy clubs, gay bars, rooftop parties and radical political events. His debut standup comedy album LOW HANGIN FRUIT was released in 2012 via Earwolf to rave reviews and recently starred in the movie HITS, written and directed by David Cross.

Tickets are $20. Advance tickets are available at comedybar.ca
