Hazlitt No. 2 Launch

Join us as we celebrate the release of the second Hazlitt print edition.

To be honest, the contents of the new issue might look pretty grim stories about ebola, suicide, the horror of adolescent embarrassment, fiction entitled The End and Blood-Red Beard, Molotov cocktail still lifes, Heather O'Neill setting her house on fire, prison architecture, and, from Burma, "The Dead Boy."

Consider it our idea of a summer issue.

Fortunately, our idea of a summer party is less dark, so we're transforming Toronto's beloved TYPE Books into a dance club/art installation for one night only. And we'll be keeping things going late into the evening.

- See TYPE re-imagined for one night by Kalpna Patel

Hazlitt No. 2 features appearances by Heather O'Neill, Owen Pallett, Lorrie Moore, Tao Lin, Michael Deforge, Xu Bing, Lisa Hanawalt, Julia Dault, Daniel Galera and many more. Edited by Chris Frey and art directed by Jeremy Laing.

by far the best literary magazine in North America. - Toronto Star
