Get School'd: Zine Making

Come join for a night of fun with a zine party at the Gladstone Hotel. This D.I.Y. night will be filled with scissors, multicoloured papers, collage images and plenty of pens with the hopes of making some fantastic one-off zines or multiples. Learn about the history of zine-culture and the importance of spreading information through self-published works. Different zine building techniques will be discussed, including methods on building you own: poster zine, saddle stitch, double-edged, Japanese binding and book covers. Trade booklets or learn about secret photocopying techniques and the best printing shops in the city. There are an endless amount of possibilities, so it’s time to experiment and build an amazing publication!
