Get School'd: Floral Watercolour Painting Workshop

What’s this all about?

Spring has sprung, and the flowers are coming out! Learn how to use concentrated watercolours to create beautiful floral blooms. Watercolour is a wild and unpredictable medium, but don’t be shy, come pick up a brush and try it out! Keep it light and learn that watercolours can be as fun and breezy as a walk in high park.

In this beginner's workshop, you will learn about the basics of using watercolour, masking fluid, as well as some techniques involving salt, drips, splashes, and wet-on-wet painting. You’ll end the day with a beautiful floral painting you can take home, as well as a good filling of watercolour knowledge you can use to experiment and play with your newly mastered medium!

Located in the Gladstone Hotel’s Melody Bar, this workshop is perfect for newbies and people looking for a refresher on watercolour techniques, and anyone who likes to get a little creative and silly while having a drink (or two!)
