Food Truck'N Friday

For the first time ever, Food Truck’N Friday will be hosting simultaneous events on the same day at opposite ends of the city, giving foodies across the GTA double the eats and double the fun!

Taking place on Friday July 14, both events will feature stellar lineups of Toronto’s top food trucks at two different locations: one at its regular location in Etobicoke at 1 Resurrection Road, and the other in Scarborough at Bridlewood Mall (2900 Warden Avenue) as part of its Summer Series.

The Etobicoke event kicks off at 4:30 p.m. and lasts until 10:00 p.m. and features returning community partners CakeStar, Sapsucker, Simply Said Kits and Little Havana Café. Participating food trucks in Etobicoke include:

• Delight Bite

• Caplansky’s

• Curb Crave

• Gourmet Guyz

• Untamed Chef

• Feed the 6

• Fully Loaded T.O

• Road Grill

The event in Scarborough runs from 12:00-9:00 p.m. and is being billed as a special Canada 150 celebration, complete with games, face painting, inflatables, crafts and more. Participating food trucks in Scarborough include:

• Gangster Cheese

• Spicy Ethiopian

• The Arepa Republic

• Eva’s Original Chimneys

• Jerk Brothers

• Mr. Pierogi

• Mami’s

• Apa’s Kitchen

“This is a very exciting week for us, never before have we hosted two Food Truck’N Fridays at two locations on the same day. It just goes to show our growing presence in Toronto’ food and entertainment scene,” said Jason Bellissimo, Director of Sales & Marketing of J.B. Innovative Solutions Inc., and founder of Food Truck’N Friday. “We’ve received so many requests from fans and foodies to host Food Truck’N Friday in their neighbourhoods. This is exactly what our Summer Series is about – to deliver the Food Truck’N Friday experience to communities across the city. We can’t wait!”

Both events are free to attend. The Etobicoke event (1 Resurrection Road) is located at the corner of Bloor St. W. and Resurrection Rd., just west of Islington subway station, with plenty of free parking available. The Scarborough event takes place at Bridlewood Mall (2900 Warden Avenue), and will also feature the MomenTO Pop-Up Museum featuring Canadian artifacts in celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary.
