Elisa Lobo " Social Inclusion through Art "

We are “Café e Cultura Toronto” a Brazilian team of volunteers that brings once a month a workshop/talk with Portuguese speaking artists,entrepreneurs,doctors and professionals that make a difference in our community and around the World!!!

Elisa Lobo was also nominated between ONU Women,for all her battle for social inclusion!!!

The Cafe Culture is pleased to have once again Elisa Lobo. She enables us to take advantage of both sides of his artistic work: the beauty of the works and the story of how to make art an instrument of social inclusion. Our fourth edition presents the exhibition of the works of Elisa and the story of his beautiful work of social inclusion, women working in the coffee harvest south of Minas Gerais. The artist Elisa Lobo, born in São Paulo, studied fine arts at UNB, Brasilia and FAAP in Sao Paulo. Since 1972 takes part in art salons, individual and collective exhibitions in Brazil and abroad. For this its social project was very important his work for 15 years as a fashion designer for Brazilian brands. In 2002 started the project of social inclusion, a subject that deals with the lecture "Social Inclusion through art." Today, we develop projects in partnership with UN Women and has exhibitions scheduled in various Brazilian states. Currently expose in Walnut Gallery here in Toronto.
