Why crickets? They’re an accessible, sustainable, healthy and delicious protein alternative. Some fast facts below:
•             35% of all methane and 18% of green house gas emissions come from cows
•             It takes 1900L of water – that’s 18 full bathtubs - to produce one serving of beef
•             5lbs of crickets can be harvested with the same resources it takes to produce a single pound of beef
•             Crickets contain ½ the saturated fat, ⅓ the cholesterol and 3x the vitamin B12 of beef
•             The United Nations has mandated that cricket-sourced protein is a major solution to a variety of food crises, which can and will impact the diets of people around the globe
