Mayraki - Mayraki, original spelling 'Meraki', is a Greek word defined as "the soul, creativity, or love put into something; the essence of yourself that is put into your work".
Toronto based with a sound that can travel the world. The product of soul, love and creativity being put into music created by friends.
Mayraki is a collective of artists brought together by a passion for making music. Formed in 2012, the band came together in Toronto under the name 'The Beaudifulhors'. The change of name in 2014 did not change the game for this squad. Constantly evolving, Mayraki is known for their eclectic sounds ranging from hip hop to rock, jazz to metal, funk to blues...you get the idea. With a sound that continues to morph and change, the soul, creativity and love used to create the music is the most consistent element of this band.
