Doors Open Toronto at the Archives of Ontario

It’s Doors Open Toronto 2015 on Saturday, May 23rd! In honour of the upcoming Pan Am/Parapan Am Games, this year the Archives of Ontario is celebrating Sport, Recreation and Leisure. All our doors will be open to the public… even the doors to our state-of-the-art vaults and preservation lab!

Visit us on May 23rd from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm to experience:

• A behind-the-scenes tour of the Archives

• Interactive children's activities in our Classroom

• Our newly designed sports travelling exhibit: Ontario’s Sporting Past

• A unique display featuring scrapbooks created by Canadian shot put and discus champion, Jackie MacDonald

• Our Dear Sadie WWI exhibit, with a special addition of archival photos showing WWI soldiers participating in sports
