We are proud to exhibit David Lidbetter's engaging new landscapes. This will be his second show at Muse Gallery.

"Painting winter, especially northern scenes, is both challenging and thrilling. The while of snow, ice and the sky offers the artist a palette of colours like no other time of year. This selection of over 25 new paintings are a very personal and intimate look at what I have seen and felt. Every painting uses different colours, tools and techniques in order to achieve this. My passion is hiking and sketching in the landscape where I live, in Quebec, but also Northern Ontario and Algonquin Park. I am looking for that one scene that resonates deep within me and sparks my emotions and imagination. I hope these paintings evoke all of the mystery, solitude and tension the I experienced by being there."
