Renowned Toronto-based realist painter and photographer Barry Oretsky captures a wide range of imagery exploring the juxtaposition of modern life and antiquity in these two European capital cities. The fusion of classical and contemporary subject matter is significant to the artist as it allows him to draw from, and reflect upon, current and past experiences.
