AUTOMATT INTERACTIVE X L.I.E.S. RECORDS Artist Showcase Series

Summer is officially over and it's time to get back to spending some quality time in dark warehouses listening to some scary music. To celebrate this we've enlisted the help of the Long Island Electrical Systems MARCOS CABRAL direct from NYC stacked with the L.I.E.S unique vintage sound that is made up of rickety drum machines, Dronemusic, Industrial and recycling of Chicago House. Mastering and elaborate arrangements? Overrated . L.I.E.S. is thus the antithesis of the highly compressed sound so much pumped otherwise on the popular aligned Floors. Although the whole thing often moved in the opposite formatted track patterns.

For this L.I.E.S showcase, we also invited DINAMO AZARI former producer of AZARI & III a freak behind the mixer, the high-energy gritty sound and performance you will not forget so quickly. Also joined by rising local producer & one of Toronto's hardest working Dj'S ALISTER JOHNSON.

Marcos Cabral - NYC Premier Toronto Appearance

Through all of his involvement in NYC's music culture; working in record shops, music distribution, managing events, running his own record labels On The Prowl and Hamilton Dance Records, Marcos Cabral still remains loyal to his true passions, DJing and music production. Currently signed to Brooklyn's L.I.E.S. records, his recent studio work has come full circle from his early techno explorations as a Trapez Records artist in the early 2000's. Over the years Marcos has produced numerous solo music projects and has collaborated with Jacques Renault as the acclaimed duo Runaway. Highlights from his discography include the sought after record "24 Hour Flight" for L.I.E.S, as well as "Brooklyn Club Jam" which was produced as Runaway for Rekids/DFA Records.
